A Call to Repentance

As we seek the Lord's guidance and protection upon our nation, I'm convinced that we must be willing to humble ourselves before His throne, forsaking the personal and corporate sins that grieve our Heavenly Father. As we're reminded in II Chronicles 7:14, only when we approach the Almighty in genuine repentance can we experience true blessings from above. With this in mind, my staff and I continue to urge NDP Coordinators across the country to schedule a segment during their prayer gatherings for participants to bow before the Lord with contrite spirits.

Dick Eastman of the National Prayer Committee (our Task Force's body of overseers) has developed a brief document to help those leading NDP attendees in a time of repentance. You may download this resource above. As May 7th approaches, let's remember that fervent intercession inspired by heartfelt contrition has the potential to change the course of our nation.
