National Day of Prayer 2009
The 58th Annual National Day of Prayer took place Thursday, May 7, 2009. Millions united in prayer as thousands of events took place from coast to coast. The theme for this year is "Prayer... America's Hope" and is based on the verse from Psalm 33:22 which states: "May your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in you."
Beth Moore joined Shirley Dobson to lead the nation in prayer as the 2009 Honorary Chairman of the National Day of Prayer Task Force.
Planning is already underway for the 59th Annual Observance that will take place, Thursday, May 6, 2010.

Freedom Video Contest
The Freedom Video Contest has concluded and the winner was announced on Wednesday, April 29. National Day of Prayer and Tangle.com (formerly God Tube) partnered to create this exciting, new, interactive challenge. Videos were reviewed by celebrities and Hollywood producers. The winning video aired on GOD TV in more than 200 countries on May 7 and the winner received a round-trip travel package for two to join Dr. James and Shirley Dobson and Beth Moore in Washington D.C. for the national observance. National Observance
Celebrate America's 58th annual National Day of Prayer from our nation's capitol.
The National Observance took place, Thursday, May 7th, in Washington D.C. from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and was broadcast LIVE via webcast and through GOD TV, channel 365 on Direct TV and channel 138 on Sky Angel. This special program will replay throughout the weekend and video on demand is available on www.god.tv

NDP at NASCAR
The Furniture Row #78 CUP program, sporting the NDP paint scheme was on the track again at Talladega Motor Speedway on April 26, 2009, for the NASCAR Aaron's 499 Cup.
