Brian Toon is the Vice Chairman _ of the National Day of Prayer (NDP) Task Force. He is a retired Navy Captain, with 25 years of leadership experience. He has a proven track record leading large organizations including a nuclear warfare command center, aircraft carrier air and flight deck operations, and a Naval Aviation squadron. He has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a Masters Degree in National Security and Strategic Policy from the Naval War College, Newport, RI and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado-Boulder. An excellent communicator, he's participated in numerous interviews on national television networks, including CNN, MSNBC, and ABC, has been interviewed by the Los Angeles Times and Detroit Free Press and he's been featured on the British Broadcasting Network (BBC) while Air Boss of the Aircraft Carrier USS Abraham Lincoln during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Brian is married and has 4 children and 2 grandchildren.
More importantly, Brian has a strong faith in Christ and a deep desire to use his gifts and talents to champion the cause of prayer in our country. As a military man, Brian has spent the past 25 years helping to defend the United States from aggression. Now, along with Chairman Shirley Dobson and the NDP Task Force, he is tasked with furthering the protective prayer shield around the United States in order to defend our nation's morality from the forces of darkness.
